BREAST ENLARGEMENT

There are different kinds of breast implants because there are differences in fillings, shapes, sizes and types of surfaces. The surgery usually takes one to two hours under general anesthetic. A short incision can be made either in the crease under the breast, or around the areola, or in the armpit. Working through the incision, the surgeon lifts the breast tissue and skin to create a pocket, either directly behind the breast tissue or underneath the chest wall muscle, where the implant will be placed.
